RMPS

Fellow poetry lovers, the race is on! We aim to reach our goal of 300 subscriptions to the Rocky Mountain Poetry Series by May of 2014. Please spread the word far and wide so we can go to print as soon as possible.

We plan to have a reading in March featuring Bruce Berger and Sigman Byrd, so you can have a taste of what you will be getting with your subscription. Stay tuned at conundrum-press.com for latest announcements and calendar updates.

Dana Gioia writes in his foreword to the book Wire Song, “One purpose of poetry is to articulate our existence — to give our inchoate experience shape and consciousness so that we might better understand and remember it.” This is not only the core of why we publish poetry, but also the reason why we want to help restore poetry as the “language of the people.” When you subscribe to RMPS, you get 3 books per year (plus the occasional bonus volume), including an anthology of the best poetry from a state in the region, a collection (or two) from a master poet, and a collection from an emerging or mid-career poet. You will also receive discounts and exclusive invitations to what will become some of the most exciting literary events in the region. Please join us by subscribing, and then help us by inviting your friends and family to subscribe as well. We will go to print when we reach 300 subscriptions, and then we will be responsible for distribution. Have no fear: if we do not reach our goal, your money will be refunded. But help us reach our goal and look forward to a revolutionary poetry experience.
